Who am I, why do I design, what I do and what is my motivation?
As a designer you have the rare opportunity to constantly live 3 lives. We live in the passed, the now and the future all at the same time. We have to understand the past to see what behavioural changes will continue to effect us. In the now we have to summon our knowledge but also question it when working with constraints of physics, budgets and time pressure. These actions give us the possibility to shape the future. We can make something that will be attractive to various parameters, change the perception on how people look at things or how they behave.
This is why we are designers, it is our responsibility to solve problems and make things meaningful. We have the tools to make life better.
